My Story

The Pink Shoppes LLC was formed in 2019. T. Jordan had recently walked away from her career in the corporate sector after 18 years of service. She had a passion for superior customer care, meeting the needs of customers and a sales driven mindset.

T. Jordan was a single parent mother with one daughter whom is her rock.  She created The Pink Shoppes as a tribute to her daughter for being affiliated with the AKA Sorority Inc. and being one of the first in her family to attend a historical black college and graduated with honors with a masters degree in Clinical Psychology.,

T.Jordan was determined to use her passion for fashion and her drive to succeed on her social media platform. Looking back she often laughs about her first wholesale order. She would pack the suitcase full of sunglasses, earrings, necklaces, bracelets for he co-workers to purchase. From there she would host small shopping events out of her home. She decided to take a break from her passion to focus on raising her daughter and focusing on her career.

In 2019 she was forced to make a career decision to either walk away from 18 years of service or to relocate to Detroit Michigan. She decided to walk away May of 2019.   November  of 2019 she was diagnosed with a tumor inside of her intestinal track that totally caught her by surprise.  August of 2021 she underwent 2 major surgeries.  She was not going to allow that to defeat her goal.

She recalls spending countless nights recording herself on facebook live before hitting "the go live button". Watching YouTube videos on how to grow a business on social media, watching countless of lives from other sellers. The very first live was for 15 mins, she laughs "I only had a few customers for the first couple months". She was determined to grow her audience. One valuable lesson that she use to reiterate to her sales team was "never be afraid to try", "focus on the needs of your customers" and be “consistent”.   In 2019 the Covid Pandemic hit,  customers were at home,  the universe was shifting and online sales was booming.  November  of 2019 she was diagnosed with a tumor inside of her intestinal track that totally caught her by surprise.  August of 2021 she underwent 2 major surgeries.  She was not going to allow that to defeat her goal.

Today "2022" with thousands of views, customers, supporters etc . She is able to share a platform with thousands of customers and enjoy motivating, encouraging, uplifting, and building her legacy. Today we are celebrating the launch of “The Pink Shoppes llc.com" our online store.
